About Us
Our Mission
The Churuyacu Chaupimpi Native Community is a Quechua-speaking community that works to strengthen its cultural identity, the well-being of its families, and the dignified development of its territory.
Our mission is to promote intercultural education for our children and youth, to promote self-sustainability practices as a way of life —through family farming, forest care and community work— and to strengthen community organization based on ancestral values such as ayni, solidarity and respect for Pachamama.
Through community initiatives, we seek to improve the living conditions of our families without losing our culture, our customs, or our relationship with nature.
